The Roll Exchanger is a machine that allows to sort 2 or 3 lines of rolls by means of a pneumatic pistons system. This machine is usually inserted between the transport tapes that connect the trimmer to the packaging machine.
The machine, thanks to a photocell system, controls the amount of rolls to be sorted according to the consumption of the packaging machine.
The structure is made of aluminum profile.
There are 4 possible configurations:
- 2 lines in → 4 lines out
- 2 lines in → 3 lines out
- 2 lines in → 3 o 4 lines out
- 3 lines in → 4 lines out
The machine is managed through a command point and it needs both electrical and pneumatic feed.
