The purpose of the machine is the cutting of refills (processing waste) from an earlier stage of the paper product line, in order to reduce them in size and volume to make them suitable for disposal by means of a special press.
The machine consists of 4 parts:
- Tagliarifili
- Control panel
- External conveyor belt (Nastro1)
- Internal conveyor belt (Nastro2)
The trimmings are placed inside the Trimcutter through the conveyor belts and then, through two circular blades, reduced to small pieces, which will be aspirated by a suction mouth (not included in the machine) and sent to a disposal system.
The machine is equipped with an automatic disk sharpening system.
